Within the grid view, a “~” icon indicates a comment on a time entry, and a “➕” indicates overtime was used.
Log Time
To enter time through a project, see Project Actions Bar.
From Timesheets:
- Navigate to “Time & Expense” > “Timesheets”
- Click the field that corresponds to the project or overhead group and date within the table.
- If the project or phase is not visible, click “Add Project Time”, then select the project and phase, or, Scope Change Request/Notice (SCRN) you want to log time against
- If the overhead group is not visible, click “Add Overhead Time”, select the appropriate category (for example, Business Development), and click “Save”
To edit overhead categories, navigate to “System” > “Lists” > Global Lists, see Lists for more information.
- Enter the time and comments for the entry as applicable. If overtime was worked, enter it in the appropriate field
You can enter your hours to the hundredth.
- Click “Save Changes”
- Click “Submit Timesheet” if this is your final entry for the timesheet period
Edit Time Entry
You cannot edit a time entry once the timesheet has been submitted for payroll.
- Navigate to “Time & Expense” > “Timesheets”
- From the table, edit an entry from your current timesheet, or use the date dropdown (YYYY-MM-DD) to select the past timesheet you want to edit
- Update the required entry
- Click “Save”
- Click “Submit Timesheet” if this is your final entry for the timesheet period
Delete Time Entry
You cannot delete a time entry once it have been billed (included in an invoice). You can still edit the entry, but changes will not be reflected on the invoice.
- Navigate to “Time & Expense” > “Timesheets”
- From the table, select the entry from your current timesheet, or use the date dropdown (YYYY-MM-DD) to select the past timesheet you want to adjust.
- Click “Delete”
