Create a Prefilled Template

From Starter Template

  1. Navigate to “Templates
  1. From the dropdown, select “Prefilled Templates
  1. Click “➕ Add Template

  1. Click Download Starter Templates”
  1. From the dropdown, select the template you want to annotate

  1. A PDF opens, which you can download and annotate
  1. Annotate and save the PDF on your computer
  1. Navigate to the saved document and drag and drop the PDF into the upload field
  1. Enter the required information into each field
💡
The File Name is used when the prefilled PDF is downloaded from Stackd and saved externally.
Prefilled Template Groups can be managed in Global Lists. See, Modify Prefilled Template Groups.

A consistent naming convention is recommended to align Prefilled Templates with
Document Signing Template

  1. Click “Save Changes

From a Personal Template

To successfully upload your own templates, all fields must match the Template Field Help Guide exactly.
  1. Navigate to “Templates”
  1. From the dropdown, select “Prefilled Templates”
  1. Click “➕ Add Template”
  1. A slide-over detail panel opens
  1. Click “Show Template Field Help Guide”

  1. Search or scroll to identify all fields your template must match
  1. Click “Save Changes”

Modify Prefilled Template Groups

  1. Navigate to “System” > “Lists” > “Global Lists”
  1. Select “Prefilled Template Groups”

  1. A slide-over detail panel opens
  1. Edit or modify the list as needed

  1. Click “Save”

Edit a Prefilled Template

  1. Navigate to “Templates
  1. From the dropdown, select “Prefilled Templates
  1. Select the template you want to edit from the list

The #, Document Type, and Name columns can be sorted.
  1. Update the applicable fields or reupload the edited prefilled PDF
  1. Click “Save Changes”

Delete a Prefilled Template

  1. Navigate to “Templates
  1. From the dropdown, select “Prefilled Templates”
  1. Select the Template you want to delete from the list
  1. Click “Delete
