Document signing templates integrate with ConsignO. If your organization is not using ConsignO, document signing templates cannot be used.
Create a Document Signing Template
- Navigate to “Templates”
- From the dropdown, select “Document Signing Templates”
- Click “Add Template”
- A slide-over detail panel opens
Retrieve an Existing Template from ConsignO
- Open ConsignO Desktop
- Navigate to “Edit” > “Preferences” > “Templates”
- This displays the file system location where your templates are stored
- Select “Browse” to navigate to your local file path
- From your files, select the template you want to upload
- Drag and drop the file into the upload field
- Click “Save Changes”

Create a Template
- Open ConsignO Desktop
- Open the PDF document where you want to create an initial, signature, or stamp zone
- Select “Create Zone”
- Define the signature zone properties
- Click “OK”
- Select “Save As Template” from the navigation bar
- Enter a template name and select “OK”

A consistent naming convention is recommended to align Document Signing Templates with Prefilled Templates.
Edit a Document Signing Template
- Navigate to “Templates” > “Document Signing Templates”
- Select the document signing template you want to edit from the list
The # and NAME columns can be sorted.
- Update the required fields
- Click “Save Changes”
Edit document signing templates requires the appropriate permissions.
Delete a Document Signing Template
- Navigate to “Templates” > “Document Signing Templates”
- Select the document signing template you want to delete from the list
- Click “Delete”
