Edit & Manage a User’s Permissions

  1. Navigate to “System” > “Roles & Permissions” > “Manage Users”
  1. Click on the user you want to edit
  1. A slide-over panel opens on the right, where you can edit the user’s roles and permissions by module
  1. Click “Save Changes”

Edit & Manage a User’s Responsibilities

Depending on a users assigned responsibilities they will show up in the following lists within projects:
  1. Project Manager
  1. Engineer in Training
  1. Engineer of Record
  1. Independent Reviewer

Manage Users Tab

If you are wanting to manage a user’s responsibilities on an individual basis set them through the “Manage Users” tab.
  1. Navigate to “System” > “Roles & Permission” > “Manage Users”
  1. Click on the user you want to edit
  1. A slide-over panel opens on the right, where you can edit the user’s responsibilities

You will find Responsibilities after permissions within the slide-over panel.
  1. Click “Save Changes”

Manage Roles Tab

If you are wanting to manage responsibilities by adding them to roles do so through the “Manage Roles” tab.
  1. Navigate to “System”> “Roles & Permissions” > “Manage Roles”
  1. Click on the role you want to edit
  1. A slide-over panel opens on the right, where you can edit the role
  1. Click “Save Changes”

Create a New Role

  1. Navigate to “System” > “Roles & Permissions” > “Manage Roles”
  1. Click “Add Role”
  1. Complete the role detail fields, including role name and optional description
  1. Select the modules and individual permission the role should have access to

You can copy roles and permissions from an existing user by using the “Copy Roles & Permissions” dropdown.
  1. Click “Save Changes”
